TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu Misinterprets Photo, Misleads Twitizens

On the 18th of December 2020, the Leader of Opposition of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu posted a photo of a police officer with the YSRCP cadre on Twitter. His inflaming tweet read –

A shocking & horrifying picture of what Andhra Pradesh has become. This brazen attack on a policeman guarding MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna's office shows the extent to which the YSRCP goondas have been emboldened. Even a policeman isn't safe in Andhra Pradesh anymore. pic.twitter.com/Bp4RJgrQSf

This tweet displays false information and the photo has been conveniently misread. The official handle of Andhra Pradesh Police responded immediately to the tweet asking NCBN to refrain from misguiding citizens with false information. The tweet said –
