Recently, few media houses started posting a misleading story about the mandatory guidelines to obtain a COVID negative certificate to avail Darshanam at Venkateswara Swamy Temple. All COVID guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, are being carried out duly and it is absolutely safe to visit TTD. All Darshanam is being carried out in utmost safety. Devotees from other states are usually getting duped by such misleading posts/news. We request devotees to kindly verify all guidelines through the official website of TTD. https://www.tirumala.org/
COVID negative certificate is only required for devotees who booked in advance to take part in Arjitha Seva at the Tirumala temple starting from April 14th, coinciding with Ugadi. Only this Seva will require a COVID-19 negative certificate, to be issued 72 hours before the Darshanam.
